Welcome
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Jamie and “here” is Whitefish, a small town in Northwest Montana, where I make music. In a previous life, I was working with survivors of abuse when the songs started to appear out of nowhere. Slowly, the music took over and I dug my way out of some serious compassion fatigue. Now I’m a hard-working indie artist trying to reach as many listeners as I can. I have a simple goal: to bring a little light to a challenging world.

Why would I give this CD away?
I want to give you a free autographed CD because music is my new social work. I want to make your day a little brighter. I make music that dives into authentic emotions on a wide range of topics – beyond the usual love song (there are a few of those too!). I think the more light we can share, the better this world will be and sometimes that means feeling all your feels. Sometimes that means giving yourself a break (yes, YOU) to listen to the new CD that just arrived in your old-school mailbox!

Fun fact about me: I LOVE tarot and oracle cards. I decided to make my own version of those here. With your CD, I’m going to throw in a surprise lyric postcard from one of the songs. I'll think good thoughts and pick a card just for YOU. It will be like a little fortune cookie or daily affirmation you can pin to your wall or tape to your journal.

So what IS the CD??
The CD is a live recording from my first-ever festival performance at Under the Big Sky Festival on July 16, 2023. "Let's Meet in Montana" is the final track on the album. It has a lyric that jumped out as the perfect album title: "Let's meet in Montana under that great big sky." What a perfect play on words for a magical day, on stage at our first festival, under Montana's great big sky. (Another fun fact: I wrote the song in 2017 and its original title was "Starbeams.")

Another fun fact & bonus
This is the first batch of CDs we printed, so I've numbered them like art prints. I’m not sure how long I will keep these in print because the music just keeps coming. I do know you’ll be getting on the bandwagon early (pun intended)! Final fun fact: I ❤️ dad jokes.
